MY THOUGHTS

Spoilers If you haven’t read Previous books

“And we are quotation marks, inverted and upside down, clinging to one another at the end of this life sentence. Trapped by lives we did not choose.” 

This book was better than the last one. Finally, the story started to move forward and focused on other important things and characters rather than that stupid love triangle. It is Reestablishment vs Rebels. The thing I most liked is the character development. Last book was like stagnant water every was just at rest and rooting with time.

“I can do anything I want. 
Be with anyone I want. 
And it’ll be my choice.” 

Juliette character development was a relief, she was less whiny in this book and got guts to speak for herself and make decisions. Though I still don’t like her especially when she was like I’d rule the world and I wanted it for so long…Seriously girl you cry and faint every day when you even think about anything else than crying over Adam and Warner.

Warner, Yes his character development was the same as I expected, still, I liked him…The only character with a shred of dignity. But her mother’s story felt forced for me. It didn’t make sense.

“And if you insist on continuing to make assumptions about my character, I’ll advise you only this: assume you will always be wrong.”

Adam, he started to change in the second book, he is practical and doing what a normal person will do to survive. But I also felt that the author is working so hard to making him look bad so Warner will look better. He is indeed a good brother…He acts like a jerk but I can’t seem to hate him.

Kenji and James are still my favourite characters from this series, Kenji is like a fresh breeze in all these depresses people and I loved the conversation between James and Warner, I want them more.

“Ignite, my love. Ignite.”
