MY THOUGHTS
It is my 3rd book of Kasie West, I really liked one and two were average.
I can’t put a finger if the character development is fluctuating or the writing, I guess characters are. Okie so Zombies were too much in the story and I don’t like zombies especially the imposed one…When I think about reading a YA, zombies never come in mind but they were there in the story.
Lacey is a 17 years old actress who is too driven towards acting and living with her overprotective father (According to her), She is stubborn and a bit childish (she is).
Donovan is the new tutor of her, simple, obedient and smart kid. But I couldn’t figure out the reason for his too much seriousness.
Grant, an already famous actor who is proud, stubborn and a bit selfish.
The story mainly revolves around these 3 characters. I was liking the story until it suddenly turns into a struggling mystery. I finished it because I was hoping it’ll get better but the ending was so dull for me.
Did I mention how much cringe-worthy a few scenes were?. I am unable to figure out the pattern of Kasie’s books.
These are for those time when you want to read something light, cute and fun.

It seems like somewhere there could be a tie-in between zombies, teenagers, and Hollywood types (I say this as an LA resident mired in zombie-esque Hollywood types), but maybe this isn’t the book for it? Great review, though, and thanks for your candor.
