“You know, people come to Italy for all sorts of reasons, but when they sat, it’s for the same two things.”
“Love and gelato.”
I have known about this book for months and many people recommended it to me, But I was reluctant to pick it. I thought It will be a cute and sweet love story which is set in Italy, Don’t take me wrong I love Italy and stories set there but cliche also annoys me. After reading HP for two months I was overwhelmed with fantasy and wanted to pick something light, quick and fun.
“What I really want is someone who will wake me up early so I don’t miss a sunrise.”
This book turns out far better than what I have expected and the story was totally unexpected for me. I loved every page of it and devoured it as fast as I could. The writing is beautiful, the story is totally fun and heartwarming. The characters are perfect neither too sweet nor too evil. Main Characters are as usual a bit stupid like every other YA 😀
“A life without love is like a year without summer.”
I always enjoy the books focused on family bonding and it got that, The way the author covered Italy was perfect it didn’t feel like a travel guide but enough to feel the soul of Italy. So Yes if you are a sucker of this kind of story, It is for you 🙂
“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.”
