Harry Potter’s third year at Hogwarts is full of new dangers. A convicted murderer, Sirius Black, has broken out of Azkaban prison, and it seems he’s after Harry. Now Hogwarts is being patrolled by the dementors, the Azkaban guards who are hunting Sirius. But Harry can’t imagine that Sirius or, for that matter, the evil Lord Voldemort could be more frightening than the dementors themselves, who have the terrible power to fill anyone they come across with aching loneliness and despair. Meanwhile, life continues as usual at Hogwarts. A top-of-the-line broom takes Harry’s success at Quidditch, the sport of the Wizarding world, to new heights. A cute fourth-year student catches his eye. And he becomes close with the new Defense of the Dark Arts teacher, who was a childhood friend of his father. Yet despite the relative safety of life at Hogwarts and the best efforts of the dementors, the threat of Sirius Black grows ever closer. But if Harry has learned anything from his education in wizardry, it is that things are often not what they seem. Tragic revelations, heartwarming surprises, and high-stakes magical adventures await the boy wizard in this funny and poignant third installment of the beloved series.

MY THOUGHTS
“I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.”
I still don’t know how to review this series😂, But I have a question who can don’t like Lupin and Black?… I must admit movies are only half of the books, I watched movies a couple of times but they never made me giddy, emotional, swooning or all these emotions I had while reading.
“You think the dead we loved truly ever leave us? You think that we don’t recall them more clearly in times of great trouble?”
I can’t express how much I loved this book, Lupin, Black, James story broke my heart, again and again, My heart goes for harry…It has been so long since I felt this much connected with any character and here every character is near to my heart. I knew J.K.Rowling was good but this much good? She is really tremendous, It is a middle-grade fantasy but the world building, story, plot twists everything is so much better than most of the today’s fantasy( Yes I am talking about most of these YA NA hyped fantasies of nowadays).
“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
Harry, Ron and Hermione’s trio is best I’ve ever read(Yes SJM even better than the inner circle). Is there any way Dumbledore can be cooler?
Everyone should read this series at least once in a life ❤
That is my favourite book from the series and I adore Sirius and lupin. The quote you gave is one that lifts me when I’m going through tough time.. Love your review too

Harry Potter is my favourite series, but POA is my absolute favourite book of the series, I make a point of reading the whole series when I re-read the books, but this is the one I look forward to the most! Namely because of the lack of Voldemort and the introduction if Lupin, Black and of course the delving into the relationship they had with James, Harry’s Dad. I’m so glad you enjoyed it, it’s my favourite book of all time so it makes me so happy to see others enjoying it!!

Third HP book is my personal favorite. The best thing about it is the introduction to “time turners”. I found it so fascinating when I read it in my teen years that I spent a lot of time researching on the topic.
