Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme brought to you by That Artsy Reader Girl. It was previously hosted at The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s prompt is Books By My Favorite Authors That I Still Haven’t Read.
There are so many authors I loved their book and still haven’t read another book.
Marie Lu
I’ve only read Warcross by Marie Lu and totally fall for her writing.
Jay Kristoff
I recently read Life L1K3 and Illuminae files trilogy, who can not like his writing?
Marissa Meyer
Guilty of reading only Cinder (loved it) and Heartless (a disappointing one).
I haven’t read any of those yet, but they sure look good!! I find the cover art to Darkdawn and Nevernight especially striking!
I’m the worst book fan, I love Three Parts Dead by Max Gladstone and California Bones by Greg van Eekhout, those are both first books in series. did i ever pick up book 2 in the series? Nope. why? the first books were soooooo good, what’s wrong with me that i never read book two? I suck.

Why you do that? I can’t dnf a series, I read 2 torturous series just because I bought these, I am trying to dnf books I don’t like, and finishing all the series I started….
How you do that?aren’t there any cliff hangers?

from what I recall, both books had their major plot lines concluded at the end, so no cliffhangers. When I read them, the 2nd books hadn’t come out yet. I guess by the time they came out, i’d gotten distracted, and it’s been so long now that the series is finished.

Guilty, too! I love both Marissa Meyer and Marie Lu, but I am miserably behind. Have only read Marie’s Legend series, and I haven’t read past Cress with Marissa. When you read so many books, it’s really hard when authors crank out the books super fast. Love this post!

I always plan to read other books of TLC series but other books come in way, I was badly waiting to read Wildcard since I read Warcross last year and now it is here and I couldn’t gather myself to read it maybe I am scared, What if won’t be upto my expectations…There are so many lame reasons like this that these books are still on my TBR.
But it is a relief to know that I am not alone 😁

It was kind of a struggle if I’m honest, the world building has potential in the future but… I can’t say I’d find myself ever picking it back up 😫

I love this topic! I might consider doing this, too, since there are some series from my absolutely favorite authors that I haven’t read yet for various reasons.
